Summer Is in Full Swing, My Sisters in Christ!

Jul 6
2 min read

June brought us much joy as we dedicated the month to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. As July begins, we turn our hearts to honoring the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. Throughout this month, many of us ad

d a red bead to our rosaries as a reminder of the precious sacrifice Christ made for us through the shedding of His blood.

This July is especially meaningful in the United States, as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary on Independence Day. It is a wonderful opportunity to thank God for the many blessings we enjoy, especially the freedom to live our faith openly and to gather in prayer with one another.

This milestone reminds me of a scene from Finding Dory that always makes me smile. Crush, the sea turtle, proudly introduces himself and casually says he is 150 years old and “still young, dude!” In many ways, our nation—celebrating 250 years—is still young in the grand story of God’s providence. As we celebrate this anniversary, may we continue striving to be a nation that seeks God’s wisdom, justice, mercy, and peace.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” (Psalm 33:12)

As we celebrate our country’s birthday, let us remember that true freedom comes from God. Freedom is not only a gift to enjoy but also a responsibility to live with gratitude, integrity, compassion, and love for our neighbors.

This Fourth of July, I pray that your homes remain dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and consecrated to His Most Precious Blood. May the Lord continue to bless and protect your families and our nation. Let us also remember in our prayers the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, asking God to keep them safe and to bless them for their sacrifice.

May we also teach our children to appreciate the freedoms we have been given, to respect those who serve, and, above all, to place God at the center of their lives.

On this special 250th anniversary, I am especially grateful for each one of you. Thank you for walking this journey of faith with me—whether through our prayer group, the Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, retreats, or simply by encouraging one another along the way.

Your friendship, your prayers, and your sisterhood have been an incredible blessing in my life. We could have met anywhere in the world, yet God, in His perfect providence, brought us together here in the United States. I truly believe that was part of His beautiful plan.

May the Precious Blood of Jesus cover each of you and your families, protect our nation, guide our leaders, and fill our hearts with faith, hope, and charity.

Happy Independence Day! May God bless you, and may He continue to bless the United States of America.

Much love,

Estefania
