✨Thank You for Being the Light ✨

Dear Sisters,

It’s hard to believe that more than 24 hours have passed since our retreat, and I am still floating on a cloud.

This experience has given new meaning to “being covered by Mommy Mary’s mantle,” a phrase my mother often used when I was a child. Whether it’s from the prayers and love you shared, or the light I now carry for each of you, one thing is certain, I feel aglow. And that means our retreat, “The Light,” truly fulfilled its purpose.

Our retreat had 100 registered attendees, including 16 alumni moms, 3 speakers, 1 Mass officiant, 1 deacon, and 3 generous food sponsors. The energy in the room was palpable—hearts open, faith alive, and sisterhood deeply felt.

My heart remains thankful to President Kruczek for giving our retreat his stamp of approval and to Mr. Pino for creating the avenue through which the Faith Sisterhood Club could forge its inception.

My sisters, I am so proud of our choice in choosing a Marist school. Quite literally on the walls of our school it says, “Mary our Good Mother…Pray for us.” Our boys see this every day and do this every day. Through Mary, we are led back to Christ’s light, and retreats like this give us the grace to pause, reflect, and realign our hearts and our families with that purpose.

A special moment worth sharing, Mr. Linfors led our sons in prayer on Friday, dedicating it to the success of our retreat. What a beautiful reflection of the faith that surrounds us. Amen.
